Failure to Appear in Court for Traffic Violations (F.A.C.T.)

If you have a traffic violation and fail to appear, the court will notify you within 10 days that you missed your court date. You then have 30 days to pay your fine (which is a guilty plea with any resulting points assessed to your license). After 30 days from your failure to appear, the court will then notify the Missouri Drivers License Bureau and your license will be suspended immediately. In addition, you may have a warrant issued for your arrest.
